Madonna and Guy make custody legal in New York court
Madonna and Guy Ritchie are making it legal in Manhattan – their child-custody agreement, that is.
In papers filed yesterday, the divorcées asked a Manhattan Supreme Court judge to make their UK agreement for sharing custody of their two kids legally binding in New York, where Madonna is raising them.
The UK agreement includes both parents promising that Rocco, 8, and David, 3, will keep kosher, even as they are shuttled back and forth across the Atlantic by their nannies.
The boys also have to observe the Sabbath by going to synagogue on Fridays and Saturdays.
It also requires Ritchie to upgrade his Internet connection at his country estate, Ashcombe House, so Madonna can talk to the children there using the iChat and Skype.
Madonna moved permanently to Manhattan with Rocco and David in late December. The couple’s divorce became official last month.
